A brief history of the creation of the Lego constructor

Many companies wanted to repeat the success and become a kind of “data provider” in the style of Lego, but could not achieve the same stunning success. The Lego store, meanwhile, is doing its job.

Start

The history of the company began in 1934, in Denmark with the idea of a simple joiner. He made wooden toys and with them stools, stepladders, and other wood products. A little later, Oli Kirk Christiansen won the competition for wooden toys and began to produce these products under a separate brand called “Lego”. Then he did not know yet that this word in translation from Latin means “I collect”.

Development

Until 1947, lego parts were made exclusively of wood and looked more like full-fledged toys – tractors, cars, trailers, and locomotives. In 1947, the production of plastic parts began. The company purchased specialized equipment and molds for the mass production of small plastic bricks. The developers probably used the services of the data room australian-dataroom.net, where the developments were kept closely related to reality. A feature of the designer was the idea and its similarity with the outside world. Each series took shape in a house, car, street, and later in a robot or a whole work of art. As a result of the work, the child received not only an interesting time spent folding lego pieces, but also a full-fledged toy.

in 1953, the Lego designer began to be imported into Sweden and then scattered around the world. For the manufacture of lego bricks, cellulose acetate was originally used, and after that, it was replaced with acrylonitrile. Such material allowed the details to keep color and shape for a long time.

Success

The modern Lego company is a huge number of products from various subjects and styles. Since 1967, the company has been producing various series and sets. Today there are 8 species:

  • Lego Duplo;
  • Lego Star Wars;
  • Lego Technic;
  • Lego CITY;
  • Lego Bionicle;
  • Lego Ninja go;
  • Lego Friends;
  • Lego Railway.

Since 1975, designers have been supplemented with original plastic figures. Initially, it was a simple armless torso, but today, figures can move their arms, legs, and easily change hairstyles and hats. Even the so-called action figures gradually appeared in sets. These are characters with whom you can perform any action. Thus, the designer is a kind of virtual data room, with which you can reproduce what you intended in reality.

In 1990, the company decided to expand its audience and released a set specifically for Belville girls. After the 2000s, Lego games were released for a slightly older audience. Lego Technic, and Bionicle are focused on the age of 7 to 16 years. There are more small parts at times more complicated design. The most complex and large-scale designers that released Lego was a smaller copy of the Taj Mahal of 5929 elements and a set of Star Wars: The Millennium Falcon of 5195 parts.
